In the convenience and comfort of our unaffected homes, the predicament of our fellow Filipinos can either move us to do something to help or simply watch and wait until it is over.
Beyond what is shown in the televison, in the aftermath of Typhoon Ondoy, lives were claimed, families were ruined, dreams were shattered. As if it is still not enough, diseases are afflicting those who have suffered and are still suffering. Some children have died. Their woes and sadness are endless. . . 
Let us all do something to ease their pain, their losses.
Let us help them start anew.
Filipinos are a resilient lot. Not because it is innate of us.
It is because, we Filipinos never leave a brother to fend for himself when all he has is himself.
